This is the last version of Internet Explorer natively available for Mac OS X. Microsoft discontinued both support and further development of Internet Explorer for the Mac upon increasing popularity of Safari and Mozilla Firefox. Although less and less, some web sites still use certain scripting and/or add-ons which work exclusively on an IE browser, so at OzarWEB, we provided IE 5.2.3 for the Mac as a last resort tool for those who have compatibility problems.
